The Carson City Symphony's "Symphony of Flavors," a Gala Showcase event with music, catered dinner, and selected wines, will be on Sunday, May 21, 4:00 p.m., at the Brewery Arts Center (BAC) in Carson City. The evening will begin with a recital at the BAC Performance Hall, followed by an elegant dinner in the BAC Grand Ballroom.
The recital will feature talented young musicians, many of whom have performed with the Symphony. Performers are Rachel Ing, piano, Ruth Lenz, violin, Christina Quigley, trumpet, Joan Young, bassoon, Paul Fleming, tuba, Jeremy Keppelmann, piano, Jakob Keppelmann, piano, and a special appearance of the "Strings in the Schools" youth ensemble, directed by Sue Kitts. |
Special Notes:
Symphony Music Director and Conductor David Bugli said, "You will be inspired and entertained by our musical superstars, enjoy delicious food, and support our musical and educational goals." Sponsors are the Carson City Symphony Association, Over-the-Top Catering, Aloha Discount Wine and Liquors, Data Graphics Printing & Mailing Services, and the BAC. Proceeds benefit the Symphony's programs.
